The Fornisca online furniture store has made it as simple as possible to find exactly what you want and in a few easy steps create an order for your chosen items. Below we have listed many common questions and answers about placing orders and what happens once an order has been placed. Catalogues and Brochures
Does Fornisca have a catalogue to send out?
As we are continuously adding new products, updating existing ranges and removing discontinued stock our product range is changing on almost a day to day basis. Therefore we are unable to provide printed catalogues and ask our customers to use our website as a live online catalogue. Not printing catalogues also keeps our overheads as low as possible therefore we are able to offer our customers the products they want at the lowest prices.
Can Fornisca send out manufacturers brochures?
Many manufacturers don’t have detailed brochures for their ranges due to frequent product changes. However please feel free to email us on info@fornisca.com if you require any further information regarding any of our products and we will get as much information as possible including additional images if this is available to us.
Security
Is it safe to process my credit card details online?
We take the security of your personal information seriously. When you submit your credit card details to us, we use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology to guard your information. In addition, we have security procedures in place to protect our paper based systems and computerised databases from loss and misuse, and only allow access to them when it is absolutely necessary to do so, and then under strict guidelines as to what use may be made of the personal information contained within them.
Fornisca has never had any reports of fraudulent use of credit and debit cards used to make purchases from us. If in the unlikely event you suspect any misuse of your information please contact us in the first instance by calling 0845 094 1514 or email info@fornisca.com
Placing an order, making payment and delivery
How can I place an order?
You can place an order online simply by adding the products to the basket and going through to the checkout page and making payment. Alternatively you can call us on 0845 094 1514 and go through an order by telephone with one of our friendly sales assistants. You may also place an order in writing and by fax.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch/Maestro cards. We also accept bank and building society cheques as well as personal cheques. Customers may also take advantage of our Buy Now Pay Later interest free option, for further information on this please see our Buy Now Pay Later page.
Do the prices on the Fornisca site include VAT?
All prices on the Fornisca site are inclusive of VAT.
What are Fornisca’s Delivery Charges?
Fornisca.com has made its delivery charge policy a very simple one. We offer a free delivery service for all orders, except to PA, IV and KW postcodes where there will be a small additional charge which will be advised prior to order confirmation.
For delivery to ROI, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Scottish Islands and Channel Islands we will deliver to a nominated mainland GB address e.g. a port. Onward shipping from that point is the responsibility of the customer.
How competitive are Fornisca’s prices?
We at Fornisca believe that our products are extremely good value for money. Our staff ensures that Fornisca prices are regularly compared to our competitors. If however you find a product cheaper elsewhere then Fornisca promise to beat the price. For more information in regards to our price matching policy please see our price promise page.
What happens if I cancel my order?
Orders with Fornisca can be cancelled from the time that the order is placed up to 7 days after the order has been delivered. If for any reason you are dissatisfied with the items that have been delivered please call our customer services team to notify us on 0845 094 1514. If you are able to return the items yourself please arrange this with our customer services team. If you require the items to be collected Fornisca can instruct our partners however any refunds would be minus £25 to cover the cost of the courier. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were delivered in. All goods must also be in the original packaging. Refunds may be upheld if goods are returned damaged. Items may also not be collected if they are not in the original packaging ready to collect. Mattresses can only be returned if they are unopened, so please ensure the mattress is tested with the wrapping intact and only open the wrapping once you are certain you wish to keep the mattress.
So what happens once I’ve place my order?
Firstly Fornisca will send an order confirmation email to all customers confirming their order with us. If the items being ordered are in stock your information will be passed over to our home delivery partners and they will be in contact in regards to booking a delivery in with yourself directly. Some items may need to be ordered in from our suppliers, once these items have arrived with us the delivery company will again contact our customers to book a delivery in. If they are any delays to your order for any reason the customer will either be called to explain the problem or alternatively the customer will receive an email detailing the problem.

When will my goods arrive?
In the vast majority of cases, Fornisca orders are delivered within a 2 week period. Lead time may increase if items are out of stock with suppliers or if items are special orders and are made to order. Lead times are also given on specific product pages. If you have certain deadlines please call us on 0845 094 1514 before placing orders online.
Will my goods have a guarantee?
All goods carry a 1 year manufacturer’s guarantee against materials and workmanship. Specifics on the guarantee will depend on the item, the problem with it, the supplier and the customer location. Generally manufacturer’s guarantees are attached to the furniture or in the packaging the furniture arrives in.
What is Fornisca’s privacy policy?
Our commitment is to provide you with the best possible service and protect your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will not email you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will only pass your contact details to Home Delivery Group for delivery purposes.
The type of information we will collect about you includes:

· Billing and Delivery address
· Contact numbers
· Email address
· Credit/Debit card details
We will never collect sensitive information. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by logging onto your account. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
